Welcome to Mrs. Richardson's homepage. I am the instrumental music and general music teacher. This year I will be teaching grades K-8 and all instrumental lessons. My goal is to have the students learn their instrument and learn about the basics of music while having fun at the same time. I look forward to making this year another very successful one! |  |
REMINDERS: 7th and 8th grade music students - You will need a two-pocket folder for music class this year. Please put your name on it somewhere so you can identify yours easily. The folder will be kept in the music room, so you cannot share it with another subject. A reminder slip will also go home the first week of school. Instrumental lessons are given during the school day. Look for sign-up sheets located outside the music room. Even if you played an instrument last year and want to play again, you STILL need to sign-up! You MUST return a permission slip in order to participate :-) Sign-ups for After School Band are also located outside the music room. Even if you were in it last year, you STILL need to sign-up again. After School Band rehearses after school. WE WILL MEET ONLY ON TUESDAYS THIS YEAR. First rehearsal will be on Tuesday, September 28th. You MUST return a permission slip in order to participate :-)  |
