Dear Parents,

I hope that the boys and girls enjoyed starting kindergarten at Green Hills School!  The children have already been busy learning about our school and the class routines. They have enjoyed listening to some wonderful stories and loved beginning our Reader's Workshop.  We are now working on starting our Writer's Workshop using the new folders that the children decorated.  The children will begin working with the Letter People and also will begin working in the handwriting series. In math the students will be working with numbers, postition and direction. The month will be filled with many activities that have to do with autumn.

Please note the following reminders...

*Milk money is $1.25 for the week.  Please send in your child's milk money in a clearly labeled envelope.

*Remember to return your child's student folder on a daily basis.  We will use this to send home any notes or homework. We would also like you to use this folder to send in milk money.

* On the days that the students have gym, please have them wear sneakers.
