Welcome to Middle School ILA! This year we will explore the wonderful worlds of literature and writing. We will read and examine a plethora of exciting novels, short stories, and plays. Through literature and class discussions, students will gain a better awareness for different styles of thinking and writing. Our ideas and discussion from literature will transfer into our witting. Students will follow the 6+1 Traints in order to learn how to analyze and create multi-paragraph essays, journal writings, and research papers with confidence, ease, and individual style. Hard work, dedication, and organization, coupled with a positive attitude will ensure a successful year for the middle school team! So let's roll up our sleeves and get ready to work!
