Period 1:   do pgs 76 (all) and 77 (Concept Mastery) 

Period 4:   do pgs 76 (all) and 77 (Concept Mastery) 

  All students need a bookcover for Science texft and a 1/2" or 1" 3-ringed binder for notes and homework which will not be used for any other subject.  Students who come to class without a pen or pencil, textbook, agenda, and science binder will be considered unprepared for class.   

 Students may gain extra credit by reading, writing a brief description of how the article is related, and then bringing in any newspaper article that is related to topics which have been covered in 6th grade science during the year. This article can also be from an accredited news source such as www.sciencenews.com, www.sciencedaily.com, or www.sciencenewsforkids.com
